Woman and Child Welfare

Women empowerment is an ongoing and dynamic process, which enhances women’s ability to change those structures and ideologies that keep them subordinate. TAMOHA has expressed keen interest in child and women welfare programs. The programs of the organization aims at making them socially empowered, economically independent and self reliant. Child welfare programs of our organization provide for the care, protection, treatment, development and rehabilitation of neglected children. The organization has conducted various women and child welfare programs in the regions of Delhi which helped in taking steps to eliminate violence against women. The organization wishes to provide for surety in equality for women in view of legal rights. Through various programs such as Self Help Groups formation, the organization helps in improving the economic status of women. Community participation is being ensured for our all women and child welfare programs and uses appropriate use of media. TAMOHA wishes to open Multi Purpose Mahila Centers in the upcoming year to provide for the welfare of women, in all means.
